Boulder Elementary School is committed to providing continual professional development to the teachers and staff that work with the students in our community. The staff meet weekly, discussing various theories and methods of best practices, as well as, bring professionals into the building to provide continuing education. Additionally, all employees are encouraged and supported in continuing education experiences outside of the school.
Elizabeth Julian, Teacher & Administrator
Elizabeth is the Head Teacher and Principal at Boulder Elementary School. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont in 2003. Elizabeth graduated with honors receiving the Elementary Education Program Diversity Award, recognizing her efforts to advance the Elementary Education program’s mission of teaching all children strategically in diverse communities.
Prior to teaching at Boulder Elementary, she taught with various experiential education programs and was a wilderness guide throughout the United States. Elizabeth has been living in Boulder with her husband since 2008. In addition to her role at the school, she is a volunteer librarian at the town library and serves on the board of the Boulder Arts Council.

Molly Benson, Teacher
Molly started right here as a student at Boulder Elementary School. Later, in 2010 she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she studied Film and Feminist Studies. She then spent six years in Seattle where she gained experience working in many fields, including event management, graphic and web design, theatre and film festival production, and had the opportunity to work with opera singers, filmmakers, and writers, among others. She is delighted to have come full circle to contribute her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to her former elementary school.
Molly works with students in kindergarten through sixth grade in all areas of studies with a focus on Reading, Social Studies, Science, Technology, Engineering, and the Arts.

Lexi Johnson, Highly Qualified Paraprofessional
Lexi works with students in preschool through sixth grade in all areas of study. She plans on continuing her education as a early childhood educator, until then Lexi is using her time at Boulder Elementary School for professional experience. Lexi grew up in Boulder and attended Boulder Elementary School. She was a student at Escalante High School and graduated from Utah Online School in May of 2016.
Michala Alldredge, Highly Qualified Paraprofessional
Michala works with Boulder’s preschool students. She has a great love for learning and working with children. Michala grew up in Utah and attended schools in Richfield, Kanab, Orem and Salt Lake City. In 1992, she graduated from high school in West Jordan.
After attending college in Salt Lake City she moved to Portland, Oregon where she continued her education with a focus on English and Environmental Science. She worked in Pharmacy and business development for nineteen years. Her interest in science and healthcare inspired her to study massage therapy in 2008. She completed her training and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since January of 2010.
Michala moved home to Utah in March of 2015 and she has been residing in Boulder since then. Her pioneer roots in Boulder, Escalante and Henrieville instilled a great love for the land and the people who make it their home. She is excited to be working and making a home in this great community.
